Overview
A rare opportunity for an experienced 3rd Line Unified Communications Engineer within a global professional services firm in the heart of Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a strong understanding of Skype for Business and related tools to join a close-knit, collaborative team. Reporting to the IT Ops Manager, you will join the specialist team focused on supporting, maintaining and improving the firm’s Skype for Business service as well as their wider communication and collaboration tools (e.g. EICC touchpoint, Exchange, Blackberry UEM, etc.) You will act as 3rd line support for all related Skype for Business issues. You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of required documentation of all new and existing infrastructure in line with company standards. You will work to ensure all relevant processes are followed and security standards are maintained across the firm. You will also work collaboratively with IT colleagues to improve the overall Skype for Business service as part of BAU operations and ad hoc project work, as well as supporting other key collaboration services. You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Skype VOIP environment with demonstrable understanding for Skype for Business, Office 365 and Unified Communications. You will be competent at configuring Session Border Controllers and experience working with a ticket logging system to agreed SLA’s. Ideally, you will also have experience of EICC, BB UEM, Exchange 2010/2016 and enterprise server environments. £Excellent Salary (DOE) Group Benefits.
