Overview
Our client, a global Japanese owned company; specialising in Ocean Transportation is currently looking to expand their Finance Accounts department within their European headquarters, based in the heart of the city. This position as Accounts Supervisor, is looking to take on a motivated and dynamic individual with experience in the one of the following: shipping, port operations, maritime, LNG, dry bulk, Ro-Ro or tanker vessels industry. Accounts Supervisor: International Accounting and Financial Management. Overview of tasks: Oversees the cycle of daily accounts payable/receivable activities Prepares and/or reviews journal entries Nominal ledger analysis and review Produces monthly reports Assist in managing the period end closing Have you got 5 of these essential requirements? Worked for a shipping, container or vessel operator? Managed, mentored, trained or supervised team? Exposure to a corporate environment dealing with strict and pressurised deadlines? Dealt with International or inter-company accounts within the EMEA remit?
