Tax and Trusts Solicitor with a minimum of three years’ PQE sought for a leading, top ranked Private Client firm in Berkshire. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven Solicitor to join our client’s thriving practice in Reading. The successful candidate will handle a demanding caseload of tax and trust matters, whilst providing first-class client care. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Responsibilities • Specialising in Inheritance Tax Planning and Capital Gains Taxation for high net-worth individuals • Being adept at working with corporate referrals, managing their assets and estate planning accordingly • Undertaking networking opportunities and pursuing business development activities to raise personal profile, that of the department and the firm as a whole • Producing blog, online and media content where required • Managing an agreed caseload of clients in conjunction with the Department Manager • Maintaining the highest professional standards in accordance with the firm’s objectives and complying with the firm’s quality standards • Keeping clients fully informed of the range of services that the firm offers The Candidate • Solicitors with at least three years’ PQE • STEP membership is highly beneficial • IT proficiency • Excellent literacy skills • Clean driving licence The Firm This Legal 500 firm based in Reading seamlessly combines a modern, progressive approach with the heritage values of giving back to the community in every sense of the word, supporting a wide range of charities and local events.
