Opportunity for a Housing Paralegal / Legal Executive / Fee Earner to join this growing practice in Preston and form part of a close knit team. You will be working with an existing head of department and assisting with the expansion plan for the team as well as carrying your own caseload. Ideally you will have at least 1 years' experience within housing disrepair and have represented both landlord & tenants. The majority of the work will consist of representing tenants so experience within public housing law will be advantageous however private funded work will also be considered as you will also represent a small number of housing associations. Work will include issues such as Anti-Social Behaviour injunctions, possession claims, disrepair, and cavity wall matters. You will be dealing with matters from inception through to trial so you will be able to undertake your own advocacy. Salary for this housing law role will be based on experience level however you will be looking at a salary of circa £20,000 - £25,000 plus an added bonus scheme.
