Role: Senior AWS Engineer Location: London Salary: Up to 90k 10% Bonus Chapman Tate are pleased to announce that they are recruiting for a Senior AWS Engineer based in Central London . We have partnered with an organisation who specialise within software solutions for large organisations within the FinTech industry throughout the UK and Europe. They are going through a very exciting period of growth, which has come from organic and acquisitions. The role will be part of a growing team focused on delivering new products with a focus on moving over to AWS. You will be responsible for leading a small team of three and be reporting into the Head of Engineering. Skills and Experience Required: AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, CodeBuild/Pipeline Building and operating applications on AWS using technologies such as AWS Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB and Cognito. Automating software build, deployment and server configuration management using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Git, & Terraform Agile development methodologies Cloud/DevOps practices and automation of software testing, delivery and infrastructure changes You will get involved in: You will be leading a greenfield project migrating on to AWS. You will work with internal stakeholders at different levels to design the best way of implementing the change. Maintain documentation and operate toolkits for the provisioning and running of cloud infrastructure You will be solely responsible to advance the code-base safely by utilising the best, appropriate practices and techniques such as software craft, tdd, pairing/mobbing, refactoring. You will be responsible for the design, build and progress pipelines so that all changes can be released in a fully automated manner. You will be responsible for the support of the products through verification and integration with the consumers AND in production. You must be able to understand the problem that the client is trying to solve by collaborating with people in Product, Engineering and Commercial teams.
