Overview
An excellent opportunity fora City based Insurance Underwriters for a person with Accident and Health Insurance background with at least some claims exposure to work in a role that will develop into a Claims Adjuster role. The position will also manage some Contigency and Bloodstock claims. Working in an excellent team envionment in a growth area for the business with is a great opportunity for someone with 1-3 years AH backgroundto work for a leading Lloyd's Underwriters. The role will be to develop a thorough understanding of the underwriting and claims within the Accident and Health portfolio. To proactively adjust claims within your authority level. To develop and maintain close and collaborative working relationships with your divisional underwriters and actuaries. To ensure delegated claims are managed in accordance with claims values; ensuring effective oversight of TPAs/Service Providers via regular reporting on key performance indicators, peer reviews, file reviews and generally sharing of best practice. To instruct and proactively oversea lawyers, adjusters and experts.
