Overview
Play Sports Group is looking for a Magento Ecommerce Developer to join our growing team based in Bath. ABOUT YOU As Magento Ecommerce Developer, you’ll be responsible for looking after the GCN, GMBN, GTN and EMBN shops, maintaining and developing them into being even better than they already are. You will also work alongside our development team and design teams to create and maintain beautiful and functional ecommerce sites for our great clients, which include some of the biggest brands in cycling. You’ll have worked with Magento and PHP for a number of years and will be comfortable with version control and deployment tools. You’ll have an understanding of MVC patterns and frameworks along with a good working knowledge of front end development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript - though our front end designers will be there to help. With any Magento build there are always a number of integrations that need to be made, so you will be comfortable with integrating third party services such as payment gateways, ERP and ticketing systems into a Magento setup. Creating innovative development solutions will come as second nature to you, and you will be happy to work alongside our talented designers as part of a collaborative team to realise these. We strive to create unique online shopping experiences that stand out from the crowd. You will have built your own themes, modules and extensions for Magento and are happy working on a bespoke design for clients. You will also be happy working with third party modules and extensions where needed. Your sites will also be maintainable and scalable as we grow and adapt our sites to meet our clients’ needs.
