Data Solutions Analyst Bristol Competitive Salary Realistic Progression Opportunities Training & Development Competitive Company Pension Award Winning Employee Share Plan Flexible Working Hours 25 Days Holiday Excellent Working Culture Job Purpose : The Data Solutions Team is responsible for Data migrations on and off Computershare’s core systems, the processing and/or reconciliation of high volume / high value transactions, bespoke exercises in data Manipulation as well as bespoke reporting tasks. The aim of the Data Solutions Team is to provide expertise in data processing and transformation, to bring certainty to the data elements of the projects and events that we support. The successful candidate will be part of a growing team of data analysts, working closely with technical engineers and business analysts to deliver large data driven projects that are vital to Computershare’s strategic objectives and growth. Key Accountabilities: The ideal candidate will be data focused with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the business. Analyse, understand and document existing and proposed data processes Drive requirement gather through targeted questioning Identify and manage risks with appropriate data controls and project governance Implement data process improvements and solutions to fulfil business requirements Test, configure and run new and existing data products and solutions Work with technology teams to deliver new system functions and solutions Proactively identify and seek resolutions to system / operational issues Manage workload according to business needs Use of Technology to deliver business solutions Essential Experience: Strong analytical approach to data PC literate with experience of at least one of the following applications Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL Able to prioritise and manage workloads to agreed deadlines Self-motivated to deliver project goals Ability to sort through complex concepts and ideas Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Exceptional attention to detail Reliability Desired Experience: Knowledge of share plans and financial data would be advantageous; however, training and peer learning will be provided to bring any successful applicant to the required level for the role.
