With a Care Quality Inspection Rating of “Good”, it’s an exciting time to join our team We’re currently looking for two part-time Extra Care & Support Assistants to join us, working waking nights. The Benefits - Salary starting from £9.96 per hour (rate of pay dependent on experience) - Annual bonus - Healthcare cash back scheme - High street discount scheme - Cycle to work scheme - Annual leave purchase scheme The Role As an Extra Care & Support Assistant, you will provide an excellent care and support service to our customers at Miners Court, a community of older people, as well as some younger residents with learning and physical disabilities. Based in the centre of Redruth, Miners Court consists of 64 flats and has colleagues on-site 24 hours a day. About You To join us as an Extra Care & Support Assistant, you will need: - A diploma and/or NVQ Level 2, ideally 3, qualification in Health and Social Care (or the willingness to gain this) - Great communication skills - A caring and empathetic approach - A positive attitude This is a part-time role, working 22 hours per week (2 x 11 hour shifts) on a two week rolling rota. These posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
