JA658 - Maintenance Engineer Electrical Job Location - Alfreton - Derbyshire Salary £32K plus shift allowance Shifts Monday - Friday (weekly rotation) Rotored Saturday 1-8 week night shift paid at enhanced rates Overview We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join our client’s Maintenance Team at their production plant in Alfreton. The successful candidate will have a recognised engineering qualification and experience of carrying out maintenance in a production/factory environment. An example of the type of machinery in the plant is Water Systems, Powder and Liquid Blenders, bottlers, wrapping machines. Key Responsibilities The role is to support the Maintenance strategy for the site and implement AM and PM systems. To develop and maintain the maintenance systems. Implement and driving change through the use of CI techniques including gathering and interpreting suitable data. Skills and Experience Company approved qualifications for the purpose of carrying electrical work such as HNC/NVQ/BTEC? Through practical knowledge and experience in site processes and with suitable electrical experience A sound working knowledge of Maintenance techniques associated with autonomous, preventative and predictive maintenance Adheres to safety and quality standards to ensure the work is completed to the highest standards Full awareness of workplace and chemical hazards with the associated regulations is a prerequisite for the job Sound knowledge of computer packages such as word and excel. T&Cs £32K/annum (not including shift pay of approx £2400) 25 shifts/days public holidays Other Benefits – defined contribution pension, life assurance, critical illness cover, healthcare, free parking and staff shop.
