Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically biased) Salary: £31,500 Contract: Permanent Location: Lincoln, LN6 5TX Shift Available: Monday to Friday 05:15am to 14:15pm Dovecote Park We are a family business established in Yorkshire since 1997 based in Pontefract with a reputation for exceptional product, innovation and industry leading animal welfare standards. A committed team of over 700 staff oversee the whole process: from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience. About you: Previous experience of working within a FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential Apprentice trained Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification Experience with the maintenance and repair of the following: Automated rail systems, PLC driven conveyors, hydraulic saws / power packs, pneumatic platforms, skinners, hoists, weighing systems, printers, pressure washers, site services, pumps, compressors, heating, lighting and cosmetic fabrication Computer literate - able to use Microsoft packages etc. Flexible in your ability to work on your own or within a Team Be able to work under pressure Role: The role will cover electrical work in the main, however you will be asked to assist with mechanical tasks from time to time (75% Electrical - 25% Mechanical) Provide engineer maintenance support to all production areas Fault finding Attend breakdowns and minimise downtime Experience of working with reactive maintenance and PPM Project work e.g. line moves, new installations etc. (desirable) Able to understand engineering drawings Working to Health and Safety guidelines Benefits: Onsite Gym Staff shop Free onsite parking Yearly attendance bonus - (qualifying criteria) Subsidised canteen 4% Pension contribution
