If you’re an experience Site Foreman, and have experience working on highway maintenance works then this could be a good option for you The client I am working with is looking to grow its team in the South East, so read on for more information.What’s great about this opportunity?This company operate as both a Tier1 and Tier 2 contractor, assisting larger companies on bigger projects and taking ownership of smaller packages of work. This gives you a unique insight to how different projects work. They are also well known for retaining staff members, ensuring everyone is happy in their role and meeting their development needs.You’ll mainly be working on highway maintenance packages of work, which will be made up of re-surfacing, drainage, 278 works and much more. Values will be lower and turnover of projects much higher than larger schemes of work.What can you bring to this role? You’ll ideally have a background in highway works, ideally smaller value higher turnover. We can also look at rail minor works experience as long as it’s lower values i.e. £100k - £5mCSCS, SMSTS site ticketsThe ability to travel across the South East to site locations What will you be doing as Site Foreman?As Site Foreman you can expect to work closely with the on-site team members, liaison with Engineers and senior management team to ensure the daily running of the site is meeting the schedule. You’ll deliver daily toolbox talks and task briefings, ensuring all labour, machinery, materials, and sub-contractors are utilised and monitored. A major part of your role will be understanding the health & safety and environmental issues on site, from noise pollution to waste management and ensuring all on site are following the SHEQ policies.
