Overview
Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for an Interim Project Accountant for an organisation operating at the heart of Government. Based in central London, this opportunity is for a period of 6 months and requires applicants to hold valid and current CTC, SC or DV security clearances. Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this role will provide critical 'hands on' finance support to large scale digital and technology programmes. With a key focus on producing and delivering financial analysis and management information to the key stakeholders across the business, specific responsibilities include: Responsibility for monthly management account packs for the programme. Lead on financial business planning and budgeting, cost analysis and in-year forecasting for the programme. Provide comprehensive financial advice and support to the wider organisation on the financial position of the programme. Provide customer focused elements including insight and influence into all financial business decisions. Drive commercial focus and understanding including pricing and commercial contracts. Assist the financial accounting team on the production of the draft year end annual accounts and work collaboratively with the organisations core finance team. We are looking for candidates that can evidence a detailed hands on financial management background combined with the provision of a first class business partnering service in a digital and technology space. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and will be personable with excellent communication skills that has the ability to build rapport with budget holders in a warm engaging but often challenging manor. Video interviews are likely to commence from the 13th April, our client is willing to wait until June for the successful candidate to join. Candidates that do not have current and valid CTC, SC or DV security clearance will not be considered. Please note: this role is INSIDE IR35.
