Senior Clinical Research Associate / CRA II job, Pharmaceutical, CRO, Rare Disease, Gene Therapy Your new company This globally based CRO are looking for the right dynamic and organized person to fit in as a Senior Clinical Research Associate. This is a unique opportunity to work at a multi award-winning CRO that provides services for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device and government and public health industries. Their focus, finding cures for debilitating diseases for the chronically and critically ill, requires only the best and brightest - putting you in good company. Your new role You will be working for a continually growing company with an average 95% annual retention rate, based in their office in Kings Cross. You will be working to identify, select, initiate, monitor and close-out investigational sites for clinical studies (Phases I-IV) and averaging around 6 on site visits a month. A bachelor's degree in science, an allied health field or equivalent is essential, and you should have over 18 months experience of direct site monitoring in a Bio, Pharma or CRO. Furthermore, previous experience in Rare Disease or Gene Therapy is preferred (although not essential). This is an office-based position, candidates must be able to come into the office. What you'll need to succeed Main Responsibilities Conduct site visits (including validation, initiation, monitoring, close-out, etc.) Perform clinical study site management/monitoring activities in compliance with ICH-GCP, sponsor SOPs, Local laws & Regulations, Protocol and Site Monitoring Plan Assist with regulatory and study start-up activities including contract and budget negotiations What you'll get in return This is a unique opportunity to work for a CRO that is responsible for the global development of drugs and devices that save lives and improve the quality of life of the chronically and critically ill.
