Overview
Calling all Registered Nurses, Paramedics, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with current NMC/HCPC Registration and a minimum of 2 years experience. We have great opportunities available to become a PIP Assessor including full time training, a generous salary. This permanent position will involve face-to-face assessments with Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claimants to provide a structured report that will be used by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in their claim decision process. Starting salary of £30,000 - £34,000 with full and part time roles available. Main Responsibilities · To undertake face to face assessments using IT software to support clinical decisions. · To analyse and interpret clinical information and medical evidence and provide a report in a professional and concise manner. · To be motivated, show commitment and be flexible at all times. · Ensure that professional practice standards and 'best practice' are maintained in all areas of work. Essential Skills and Experience · Two years post registration experience. · Ability to work to targets and specified standards. · IT literate with experience of using a range of software. · Broad based experience and assessment skills. · Ability to multi-task demonstrating that you are able to listen, assess and take notes and have the confidence to control an assessment. Key Benefits · Excellent salary of £30,000 - £34,000 per annum. · Fixed hours Monday to Friday 9-5 · 232.5 hours annual leave per year including bank holidays Full time and part time is considered to work on a rota system Training given and this is a 10 day residential training course.
