Overview
My client is looking for a Senior Procurement Project Manager. As the Senior Procurement Project Manager, you will work for fantastic aerospace client and you will have experience in manage a number of projects, have commercial contract experience and have the ability to influence stakeholders. Role: Senior Procurement Project Manager Pay : £30.70/hr PAYE Contract: Monday- Friday,35 hours a week, 5 months contract Location: Broughton Main Responsibilities Interface between the Wing Procurement Team based in Broughton, Bristol and Bremen and the Programme Project team based in Broughton on a project launched to digitalise the current design standard of the Single Aisle Aircraft product family (A320 and A321 variants). Represent Wing Procurement in a co-located, multi-functional team Engage with Suppliers to agree specifications for activities, the cost impacts and the planning to meet requirements as defined in the specification Seek to resolve any Procurement related blocked issues or, if not possible, escalate as appropriate within the Procurement team Day to day liaison with all stakeholders including Programme and Procurement team members Establish a governance regime to monitor and report progress to plan, to highlight any issues and to identify risks Produce and maintain an overall tracker containing all work packages within the perimeter which captures the current status of each work package Work with the Programme team and relevant Procurement team members to co-ordinate and enable: Kick off meetings with Suppliers The Supplier to clearly understand all requirements Clear agreement between Airbus and the Supplier regarding requirements and the associated deliverables Clear agreement between Airbus and the Supplier regarding commercial arrangements Launch of activities Ongoing activities through to completion of all agreed deliverables Resolution of any issues arising Other This role will require travel to Filton once per month and also to Europe on some occasions If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please send your updated CV to: Connor Bailey at Line Up Aviation Line Up Aviation is a specialist aviation and aerospace recruitment company that has been operating all over the world for more than 30 years.
