A Cleveland hotel is recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join the team of chefs working at the venue Role: An experienced Junior Sous Chef is required to work at a luxury, country hotel where you will be joining a team of eight chefs in the kitchen.In this role of Junior Sous Chef you will be preparing dishes for a wide range of outlets including the award winning fine dining restaurant, the lounge bar and the considerable banqueting department.As Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to be capable of working across the sections in the kitchen whilst also assisting the senior chefs with some basic kitchen management including ordering, implementing hygiene regulations, controlling costs where possible and training of the junior chefs. Requirements: The Head Chef of this hotel is seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef who has already been working at this level in similar, multi-outlet hotels where you were cooking to award winning standards.A flexible chef who enjoys working on all sections of the kitchen with good team leadership skills and an eagerness to develop their kitchen management knowledge would be perfect for this role.
