Young Epilepsy is the UK’s leading Epilepsy charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions. Our campus is based in a beautiful location in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services. We are accessible by bus, by train via the East Grinstead branch of the Oxted Line and by car and offer free parking on our campus. Your role These are unique roles, suited to enthusiastic and caring individuals who can provide the consistent and positive support to enable our students to reach their full potential. You will be enhancing the lives of the children and young people that we support by your innovative thinking and the ability to mentor and foster independence in our students, giving them the skills to know 'why’, not just 'how’. Key part of the role is helping with all aspects of daily tasks and encouraging independent living. The most important characteristics to do this role are compassion, enthusiasm, communication, understanding and adaptability. We provide comprehensive training, and our aim is that everyone will have achieved their Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 within their first two years of employment.
