Jumar IT Solutions are currently recruiting for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer for an initial 3-month period to be based in Stoke. The 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will provide 2nd line support for all IT systems and services, servers, applications, desktops, telephones and peripherals in the Group. Provide hands on IT support to employees across sites and maintains the effective operation of IT services via the Support Desk. 2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Overview Pay rate - £200 / £250 pd Initial 3 months Location - Stoke Inside IR35 (Successful candidates will be required to go through one of our umbrella companies for onboarding) 2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Responsibilities Provide Helpdesk support to around 300 users on a daily basis. Logging helpdesk calls and assigning them to members of the team as appropriate Resolve desktop queries for users face to face, particularly with MS Office products Resolve support calls on the key business software applications, including logging calls with third parties Resolve technical support calls relating to Citrix thin clients, Windows Desktops and Avaya IP Office phone system Working with suppliers to resolve issues with Ricoh photocopiers across a number of sites. Recognise and raise calls relating to hardware failures and manage the repair or replacement of equipment Administer and maintain the e-mail management system ideally having experience of Outlook and Exchange Server Investigate and troubleshoot other software within the business - Adobe Creative Cloud, Office 365, mobile apps Assist with the setup of Audio Visual equipment to allow staff to deliver presentations within meetings Use remote support tools to resolve issues over the phone Security and Data Protection Set up new users and administrator user permissions and security Maintain Active Directory to change permissions and access as requested Assist the ICT Officer to ensure compliance with all Internal Audit recommendations Ensure that back-up routines are carried out as scheduled Please apply below to be considered for the role of - 2nd Line IT Support Engineer This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89818457
