CAD Technician
Overview
Are you a talented CAD Technician looking for that next career step? If so, our client is looking to recruit a CAD Technician to provide accurate and timely drawing-based design solutions to the business in order to facilitate the design and manufacture of stunning prototype residential and leisure homes. Job Overview: Maintain and update the standard information library (including model layouts, constructional drawings and component modules) Work alongside both the sales department and customers to provide bespoke space planning solutions and specification documents Provide all information required for the purchasing of materials in a timely manner. Support to the procurement team in the sourcing of new materials where required Create and update manufacturing instruction packs Work with production facilities to devise and communicate effective manufacturing solutions Ensure that all designs comply with the relevant British and European standards Work at all times in accordance with company processes, and assist in the development of internal protocols Key Skills: Although CAD experience is preferred, we are ultimately looking for people with the right drive and creative problem solving to play a key role in taking the business forward. Experience of working to Building Regulations would be a strong advantage An architectural or manufacturing based design qualification, or experience A commitment to meeting tight deadlines whilst working under pressure, recognising the importance of timely information in a manufacturing environment. AutoCAD and/or Revit experience The Ideal Candidate: Excellent team player, with good communication/listening skills and a great sense of humour Strong attention to detail, driven by high working standards and a meticulous approach Enthusiastic and self-motivated Creative problem solving skills combined with an analytical approach Organised and systematic approach with good planning skills Good IT skills, competence with Microsoft Office Good self-presentation skills, polite and well mannered If you are interested in this vacancy and would like further information, please contact Anna at Satarah Recruitment.
