Planning Enforcement Case Officer

Job Role: Currently recruiting for an enforcement officer to deal with a variety of planning enforcement cases in a modern, forward thinking Authority. A varied caseload including sites in the Green Belt, commercial areas, listed buildings, conservation areas and residential sites. Skills and Requirements: Knowledge / experience of DMS preferably IDOX Comprehensive and demonstrable knowledge of current Planning and Enforcement law, practice, and issues at a national and local level Minimum 3 years’ experience within a Local Planning Authority planning enforcement role Experience of leading investigation and preparing for prosecution of breaches of planning control Experience in drafting enforcement notices (including PCNs, High Court Injunctions) Experience in arranging and conducting of PACE interviews Please note this is a contracted position of 3 months with the possibility of extension depending on budgets and performance.
