APPRENTICE CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN LEICESTER I'm looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and detail orientated, apprentice calibration technician, to join a market leading manufacturer of precision components supplying into the Aerospace industry. They have an enviable customer base that includes Airbus, Boeing and Rolls Royce to name but a few. The individual will assist with recall, calibration and reissue of company gauging from all areas of the business. THE ROLE: As an Apprentice Calibration Technician, you will: Update the system with recommendations and results Calibrate all required measuring equipment Assist with any gauging issues and problem solving Deal with repair of gauges Complete, maintain and review the Quality records Be aware of the requirements of the company's Quality Assurance systems and take ownership of its obligations Support the Quality metrics and achieve the set targets Any other duties which can reasonably be expected of the post holder THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Apprentice Calibration Technician: A willingness to learn and acquire new skills Excellent in maintaining records both paper and electronic Good communication skills A keen interest in engineering and calibration Energetic and enthusiastic Good level of concentration Detail orientated Positive attitude to work Able to learn and follow procedures BENEFITS: As an Apprentice Calibration Technician, you will Gain practical experience of working within aerospace calibration Work with experienced team members to identify, analyse and discuss how theoretical concepts are applied within the working environment Learn and develop your skills within calibration Develop your interpersonal skills required to be successful This will be a minimum 2 year apprenticeship with study.
