Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be assisting their client who are on the look out for a motivated and innovative Product Design Engineer to join their Design team . They are considering candidates for Permanent or Fixed Term Contracts. Whats in it for you?: Opportunity to work with an innovative design function with an excellent manufacturing company Dayshift hours Opportunity to be part of a multinational company Free parking Responsibilities: Design, development and testing of new products and components from conception to production Supporting all aspects relating to the introduction of new products from Supply Chain through Sales and Marketing Maintenance of product specifications, BOM and reports Working to agreed timescales to deliver design milestones on time Product presentations to internal and external customers Carrying out design review process on new or modified designs Communicating with internal and external customers Understanding competitor products Skills required: Experience in plastic DFM Industry experience within FMCG Driven to be as LEAN and effective as possible through actions and communications Qualified in Product Design or Mechanical Engineering to Degree level. Able to demonstrate comprehensive skills and experience in the use of 3D CAD tools – specifically SolidWorks Have sound knowledge of manufacturing methods including - injection moulding, extruding, metal pressing.
