Overview
Junior Calibration Engineer opportunity on offer within an industry leading company where you can play an active role in driving further company growth and recognition. Established 30 years ago this company are specialist Supplier of test and measurement equipment for the manufacturing industry. With further growth now expected they now require a Calibration Engineer to assist in company operations maintaining quality control of procedures and instruments to industry standards. In this role you will need to be a team player working off initiative within a small team. You will competent in a range of practical laboratory skills, including standard solution preparation, pipetting and maintaining laboratory apparatus producing detailed records. Daily testing and calibration of instruments will be conducted with new implementation procedures produced for new products as well as providing occasional technical support and demonstrations to customers. The ideal candidate will be a Calibration Engineer with a broad range of laboratory skills with an aspiration to develop their career within an industry renowned and supportive employer. You will have at least 1 years' experience of testing and calibration equipment on a range of electromechanical and electronic measuring apparatus. The Role: Undertake testing and calibration of electronic and electromechanical measuring devises operating protocols. Develop practical implementation processes for new company prototypes Provide comprehensive product knowledge, demonstrations and technical support to clients In a vibrant office in Bracknell, Berkshire. 20-25k per annum, 34 days holiday, Company Pension, Life Assurance The Person: Calibration Engineer Laboratory experience demonstrating attention to detail and ability to produce detailed reports.
