Overview

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Class 2 driver to work on a part time, permanent basis for one of the UK’s leading Wholesale companies who have a depot in Ardwick, Manchester. The vacancy is 2 days per week (Friday and Saturday) and would suit you if you are semi-retired or someone who is looking for extra money around another job. The role will involve the delivery of palletised goods to shops and restaurants across Greater Manchester. All work will be undertaken in a Class 2 Box Wagon. Successful candidates can expect to make between 8 and 10 deliveries per day with minimal Handball. It is essential that all POD'S are completed for each drop and returned to the depot manager at the end of the working day. Good Customer Service skills are required in order to represent our client in a professional manner. Start times for this vacancy will vary between 05.00am and 08.00am depending on workloads. It would be an advantage if you have previous multi-drop experience. The pay rate for this position is £11.50 per hour plus holiday pay and pension contributions.
