Overview
Staffline is recruiting for a Base Production Operative to work at our client's busy factory who specialise in making beds and mattresses in Huntingdon. The rate of pay is from £8.62 per hour to £11.49 per hour and you'll be required to work 7am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday and then 7:30am to 12:30pm on Fridays. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Your time at work As a Base Production Operative at this site, your daily duties are heavily based working on a production line, using a variety of machinery and hand tools to assemble parts of beds. Hand tools you'll be required to use are: Staple guns Sewing machines Hammers Screwdrivers Our perfect worker Our ideal Base Production Operative is comfortable working in a hands-on role, where you'll need to regularly lift mattresses, move parts of beds and use hand tools. You'll be comfortable with being on your feet for the duration of your shift in a busy, fast-paced atmosphere. You will have a good understanding of English, both written and verbal and will comfortably be able to work towards and reach targets set out for you. You'll have a flexible, reliable and hardworking approach to work with a willingness to learn new skills. No previous experience is necessary.
