Overview
Manufacturing Operative / FLT Based in Irlam. Metalube Ltd is a privately owned, rapidly growing, speciality industrial lubricant manufacturer with operations in the UK, Brazil, China, India and UAE. We have a new opportunity within our warehouse operations. You will be part of the team responsible for filling and packaging of drums, preparing goods for dispatch and all other general warehouse operations. Responsibilities: Filling drums and packing small items in accordance with the production schedule. Packaging goods for dispatch. Transportation of goods using forklift. Assisting with waste management in regards to production operations. Participating in training sessions. What we are looking for: Experience gained in a manufacturing environment. A FLT licence. A team player. A willingness to learn. Flexibility. This role requires heavy lifting and may include working in other Units on the Metalube sites Potential for development into blending and other operational areas. This is a full time permanent position working 42 hours working week. Mon-Thurs 07:00am - 16:00pm, Friday 07:00am - 15:30pm Salary: £19,000 per annum.
