Overview
Assembly Operative Dinnington Northern Engineering is Privately Owned UK manufacturer of polymer solutions with an excellent reputation with around 100 Employees. We are currently looking for an Assembly Operative for a temporary to permanent position (for the right candidate). Filling out paperwork. Measure and cut different materials. Gluing and wrapping. Manual work on the shop floor. Checking the finished product to make sure correct for dispatching. The candidate: Must have good eyesight for inspection purposes. Manual dexterity is needed. Any production, assembly or engineering experience would be desirable although not essential. Have some quality checking experience. Be happy to work in different area of the shop floor. Be happy to work late shifts. The candidate must happy to be stand most of the day. Looking for a long term role. Rate of pay: £8.30 - £8.55 p/h Working hours are Monday - Friday, 6am to 2.15pm OR afters Monday - Thursday, 14.30pm-12.30am with Friday’s off work (overtime available). After 38.75 hours on days overtime is paid at time and a half. After completion of 12 weeks there will be opportunity for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
