Permanent CMM Quality Inspector £30k plus excellent benefits Monday-Friday working hours Our client based in Bedford is looking to recruit someone to join their quality inspection team this is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company who have been based in Bedford for many years and currently expanding. Key Responsibilities: Working to ISO9001 accredited quality management systems Inspect external parts and assemblies against design specifications, Carry out first off inspections along with in house inspections. Creating reports and scrap notifications. Support the department during customer complaint investigations. Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the company’s calibration system. Identify improvement opportunities and participate in and lead continuous improvement activities. Undertake other work within the Quality department from time to time, this could include practical work or visits to suppliers and customers in the UK and abroad Key Skills & Experience Run and program CMM using Experience in a manufacturing environment. Able to read technical drawings Competent in using a range of handheld inspection instruments. Flexible in their daily routine. Strong written and verbal skills. Minimum Requirements In order to be considered for this role a candidate must be able to satisfy the following requirements: Degree level education or equivalent related industry experience. Sound knowledge of Inspection methodology. Experience in working in a busy environment. Meticulous eye for detail.Valid UK driving license.
