Overview

Job Purpose: Responsible for the accurate recording of quotations, following up quotations as required and monitoring all open quotations. Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Motor Fleet business underwritten, including new business, Mid Term Adjustments and renewals. Supporting the Underwriting Team, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner in such a way as to enhance the reputation of our client with its customers. Responsibilities: Record and follow up quotations Process new business, mid-term adjustments and renewals including accurate debiting of premium and issuing of documentation to comply with contract certainty regulations Discuss and prepare new business submissions for Underwriting as required Follow up quotations, discussing with Brokers to ensure best possible success Maintaining records to ensure accurate monitoring of quotation activity Develop relationships with Brokers to ensure best possible levels of business acquisition and retention Personal Attributes: Minimum 1 year prior experience / knowledge and understanding of Motor Fleet insurance - familiarity with the London Market an advantage Good interpersonal skills Able to analyse and understand data in various formats
