Overview

A unique role focusing on the enhancement of financial reporting requirements in line with IFRS Your new company An emerging brand with global presence are in the market to appoint a technically minded accountant with strong financial reporting to assist in a long term contract (24 months) with scope for permanency thereafter. Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller you will play a key role in developing the financial accounting requirements at a local level as the business migrates their financial accounting records to a larger ERP tool. You will ensure the new tool allows for financial reports & statutory information to be produced to a high quality level. Furthermore you will canvass opinion on behalf of your local stakeholder group to understand what enhancements they seek from the financial information which they receive on a periodic basis. What you'll need to succeed You will bring a mix of strong technical / statutory reporting skills and a proven track record when it comes to systems, process improvement and the implementation of new financial standards. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. A background in a leading chartered firm or a complex listed environment with tight regulatory requirements is sought after.
