Job Title -Commercial Broker - Commercial Insurance x2 Contract - Permanent Salary - £28,0000 - £35,000 Location - Manchester City Centre Industry - Commercial, Broker, Insurance, Property Owners _________________________________________________________________________ We are currently working alongside one of Manchester's largest independent brokers to assist with finding two ambitious Commercial Account Handler/Brokers looking to get into a thriving business. This opportunity isn't for the faint hearted as the department is currently performing well above target meaning you will need to be comfortable getting stuck in and hit the ground running. The business truly has a work hard play hard mentality, if you are someone who is prepared to go above and beyond typical expectations then you will get the rewards deserved The Role: -Our client has been providing top quality independent insurance advice to business for over a decade. Providing MTA, new business and renewals. You will be required to build and maintain business relationships and to promote and sell the latest insurance products. You will be required to work closely with insurance professionals and liaising with underwriters to adapt policies to suit your clients and their customers. Responsibilities: -Dealing with a mix of Commercial clients - Shops, Offices, Property Owners business -Preparation of new business quotations and market submissions. -A strong ability to build relationships and work with others is a key requirement of the role as there will be a need to link in closely with the Broking team. -Producing client reports, cover summaries, checking policies and responding to daily insurance queries and questions from clients will be the main features of the handlers day. -Dealing with Mid-market premium levels from GBP25,000 - GBP100,000 Requirements: -Someone who is business driven -2-3 years experience -Prepared to work in a team -An aspiration for self-development, willing to study towards CII qualifications. -Demonstrate a sound knowledge of insurance policy construction. -Work quickly and deal with situations whilst under pressure. -Very organised with the ability to prioritise so work is delivered accurately and on time. _________________________________________________________________________ If you have the relevant experience please do not hesitate to contact us now on or email us at To view all Current Vacancies or for more information on our Refer a Friend scheme, contact one of our consultants or visit our website www.lawesgroup.co.uk Please Note: We will only contact successful applications.
