Job Title: Business Development Manager eCommerce Salary: Competitive plus excellent benefits Location: Flexible Ref: ONLI0923 What we’re looking for AG Barr are looking for a Business Development Manager for our eCommerce business. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, the Online BDM is responsible for Amazon (all channels - Core, Pantry, Fresh and Prime) and Ocado, achieving the KPIs within their account portfolio as well as the development of a business plan for each of their customers which targets and delivers an agreed level of sales fundamentals (distribution, pricing, promotion, display, visibility). Your responsibilities will include As Online BDM your responsibilities will include; Channel Strategy Achieve all agreed Key Performance Indicators by Customer within the agreed annual budget costings (e.g. Invoice Revenue, Customer Contribution, Market Share & Forecast Accuracy) In conjunction with the BDMs/Controllers/Commercial the BDMs will also be responsible for managing and increasing the overall Invoice contribution % through effective sku mix management. Monitor promotional activity to ensure brand strategies are delivered within the account base. Challenging key contacts within the account base to ensure we deliver maximum return on investment of promotional spend based upon analysis and evaluation of sales data. Online Execution Responsible for targeting (via agreed KPIs) and communicating with the BDMs responsible for Online sales to ensure excellent online execution is delivered in line with AG Barr expectations. Responsible for creating relevant support material for BDM colleagues - ie best in class online imagery and text - and ensuring that they are delivered on time in order to facilitate monthly meetings and planning cycles. Increase visibility and display effectiveness in order to raise the profile and importance of AG Barr products creating “Best in class” through accompaniment and motivating sales force responsible for online sales. The Online BDM also has one direct report, the e-Commerce Graduate Executive. What you’ll bring… The successful candidate will have; Ideally been educated to degree level in a Business related degree. Minimum 3 years’ experience in an FMCG company with Marketing, Sales Promotion, P&L knowledge and experience. Online customer experience is preferred but not essential. Experience of head office account management covering sectors of the FMCG market. Leadership experience is preferable but not essential Excellent communication skills Ability to generate and evaluate creative ideas and produce and implement a rolling activity plan We are Barr - Are you?
