Overview
Based in the Midlands / Oxfordshire region, and in the field of protein purification, an exciting opportunity for a Lab Supervisor has become available at a leading life sciences organisation. With a global operation and sites throughout the world, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at the interface of antibody development and immunology sciences. As Lab Supervisor, you will be involved in supervising a team of lab scientists and technicians, who are involved with developing and improving antibody/protein reagents and analytical systems. The group performs feasibility studies, QA and QC, including the design, testing and validation of novel reagents and protocols. As Lab supervisor, the background of your team will come from a broad spectrum of disciplines, including but not limited to protein/antibody purification and analysis, automated preparative and analytical systems, and immunoassay (multiple formats). There is strong focus on ELISA, immunohistochemistry, antibody and protein purification. The role is based in Birmingham and has good road and public transport links.
