Overview
We are looking for a Senior IDVA Practitioner to join our team in Preston Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve. We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual who is experienced and passionate about supporting victims of domestic violence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within the domestic violence arena and in providing leadership and support to a team . You will hold an accredited Safelives IDVA certificate (or equivelent professional qualification) and have experience of case management and supervision. Safety is a priority and you will need to have a thorough understanding of risk management and safeguarding. You will be one of a team of 3 Senior Practitioners, supporting 16 FTE IDVA's who work across the county of Lancashire (excluding Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool). You will be based in our Preston office working in collaboration with other Senior Practitioners. This is a demanding role, requiring someone with tenacity and resilience to support the team in the delivery of support to around 2,500 high risk victims across Lancashire each year.
