Team Leader (Young People) Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Leominster (to cover 3 locations) Salary: Band E, £32,459 Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per weeks) Work pattern: Shifts between hours of operation Monday – Friday 9am-10pm, Saturday 12-8pm and Sunday 11am-7pm Our clients Young People provides short-term supported accommodation for care leavers and vulnerable young people between the ages of 16-25 years, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The service aims to develop the life skills of young people, encouraging access to education and training, and developing their capacity to live independently. They are currently seeking a Team Leader to lead a team of Support Advisors in providing an excellent standard of support and housing management to residents. You will provide effective supervision to ensure that your team develop and inspire young people to engage with education, training and employment opportunities. Responsibilities will include staff supervision and management of the staff rota. You will ensure all young people have an effective support plan in place to achieve agreed outcomes. The successful candidate will have experience of working at a supervisory level in a foyer or supported housing scheme, demonstrable experience of working with young people, and experience of support planning with a clear focus on outcomes.
