Management Accountant - Amazing Media Company - Immediate Start My client is looking to take on a Qualified Management Accountant on a 6 month contract to join their dynamic team. Applicants must have recent/relevant experience in a similar finance role, with a variety of financial responsibilities. Strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail are very important alongside the ability to work to challenging deadlines. Previous experience preparing full sets of management accounts The role will involve a large amount of work using Microsoft Excel. Applicants must be fully qualified in either CIMA/ACCA/ACA. Previous Media experience is a strong bonus The role will be quite varied, giving exposure to several of the companies that form part of the wider Mother group. It is broken down with the following responsibilities, being across management accounts, statutory and system: To prepare management accounts for some of the smaller/newer entities, working to agreed deadlines To investigate and report on accounting issues identified during the preparation of the management accounts Attending meetings with senior stakeholders to discuss the management accounts Ensure that selected balance sheet reconciliations are completed/reviewed to agreed deadlines with all reconciling items investigated and resolved promptly Month end closing Reporting to support with the commercials for each entity - e.g. client profitability, servicing Audit assistance Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system - including helping to test migrated data and any bespoke development Identify and implement improvements to processes and controls Support and cover for the other Management Accountant during holidays and busy periods and with ad hoc requests Training and support for the wider team If you feel you would be a good fit for the team then please apply now.
