Overview
A Purchase Ledger Manager is required on a 9 month temporary basis to join a leading software business based in Southampton, Hampshire. The successful Accounts Payable Manager will be offered flexible working hours, a generous benefits package and the opportunity to give great value add throughout a system implementation. In this fast-paced role, the successful Purchase Ledger Manager will be supporting throughout a system implementation, working directly with the Finance Director. In order to be considered, you must have strong communication skills and be immediately available. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Purchase Ledger Manager will be responsible for the following: Overseeing a team of 2 and routine department activities Assigning and delegating workload Audit accounts payable operations to make sure invoices and receipts are properly coded Work closely with the Finance Director to support throughout a new system implementation Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements Evaluate performance and make suggestions to cut costs Ad hoc duties as and when required throughout the project What you'll need to succeed: Qualified in or studying towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA / Qualification Worked in the following roles: Accounts Payable Manager / Accounts Payable Supervisor / Purchase Ledger Manager or Finance Manager What you will get: Flexible working hours On-site free parking Job satisfaction Completion Bonus The Niche Partnership is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this role.
