Our Client Nigel Wright is pleased to be working with Tharsus, an award winning specialist equipment manufacturer looking to appoint into the newly created role of Head of Product Delivery to support their continued rapid growth, Tharsus helps businesses create Advanced Machines & Robots (AMR's) that solve their immediate automation challenges and achieve growth by generating new revenuew streams. In a nutshell, they want to operate like a 'Factory of the Future' and look to appoint a Head of Product Delivery to rise to that challenge. They have been awarded "North East Company of the Year for 2019. The Role As Head of Product Delivery, you will be the focal point of the delivery of the OEDM business model whilst managing and developing all internal and external aspects of projects and programme management. You enable our customers to navigate projects and manufacturing programmes to exceed customer and stakeholder expectations in terms of timeliness, quality, cost/quality/margin and clarity of communications. As part of the Senior Management Team, you play a key role representing projects on the company Operating Committee supporting an extreme broad range of customers; from global OEM's to private equity backed SME's to entrepreneurs. You will : Develop and maintain internal processes to ensure projects remain true to intent, plan and financial targets. Develop and maintain "forward look" and "cost to complete" processes Develop and maintain communication and escalation process platforms & process to ensure all stakeholders are kept fully informed of project status. Maintain and manage project risk registers. Effective management and allocation of project resources to deployed to support project delivery. Provide commercial leadership on all projects post-order. About you Degree qualified in a technical discipline, you will demonstrate a proven track record in providing effective leadership, management and coaching to a commercial minded project management function in a fast paced complex product engineering or manufacturing business. With a deep understanding of a wide variety of project management tools you will have the agility and flexibility to develop the right solution for our customers. You will also have previous experience in project financial management, business wide collaboration including manufacturing, design, development and supply chain but also creating a project management strategy and plan that is fit for purpose for a client base with wide ranging needs. With well developed communication skills, you will demonstrate the ability to give confidence to a extremely wide range of customers to enable them to navigate their projects effectively whilst inspiring your team to continue to reach their full potential. In order to succeed in this fast moving and rapidly expanding environment you will have the agility and flexibility to respond to customers ongoing challenges, and the personal integrity to ensure that Tharsus continues to "do the right thing" for their customers.
