Overview

Senior Cyber Security Advisor - Consulting - £70k A FTSE 100 organisation who work with some of the worlds largest private & government clients are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Advisor to join their Manager Security Services team. The team pride themselves on protecting their customers form the constant threat of attack across networks, employee data & corporate brand. As a Senior Security Service Advisor, you'll be the single point of contact for Security Services delivered to a number of FTSE 100 customers. You will work closely with customers to help them understand security risks, and consult them on complex security matters. It is vital you have the knowledge and confidence to speak with Board Members, CXO's & Executives. The primary of your work will be ensuring they understand the do's & dont's of security. You'll participate in customer projects that have security requirements as well as participate in internal kick-off meetings for new engagements. You'll ensure effective communication with clients through reports and status calls to discuss the current threat landscape and action plans to prioritise and reduce risks. You'll need to have: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience. Industry certifications (e.g., Prince 2, CISSP, CISM, and/or other Security Vendor certification). Experience with service delivery and/or client-facing operational function. Presentation skills. Strong communication skills. Training/certification or college certificate in Quality Management (e.g., ITIL, Six Sigma, TQM). Knowledge of Managed Security Services and/or Cyber Security landscape. Willingness to travel (e.g., attending external events, customer visits, sales office visits, attending industry events). The ability to work effectively in a team-based environment while also working independently as necessary. Experience project managing networking and/or network security implementation, operations, or engineering projects. Experience in an operations, engineering, or other technical role within the networking, network security, IT and/or telecommunications field, particularly in a client-facing role.
