Claims and Compliance Officer

Finance Officer role, temping contract in Darlington. Your new company Working within the Not for profit sector in Darlington. Your new role The Claims and Compliance Officer will work alongside others in the Finance Team to ensure that all evidence submitted by the delivery partners with their financial claims are to the required standard. The post holder will work primarily to support the Finance Manager, in the Programme Management Team, to support a programme of audit to ensure compliance, quality and performance. The post holder will also work alongside the Quality and Performance Manager to ensure that the evidence required for participant eligibility on the programme and the quality of participant files meets the required standard. A flexible approach must be adopted at all times and the ability to cover a range of tasks is essential. Assisting the Management Team with all aspects relating to funding eligibility and compliance. Undertaking activities in relation to the implementation of claim and monitoring systems to support the delivery of the project. Supporting delivery partners in preparing financial claims, checking the evidence submitted for the financial claims meets the funder's requirements. For example time sheets, invoices, receipts, salary information. What you'll need to succeed A proven track record of working within a finance department, funding experience is desirable.
