Stock & Logistics Administrator, Glasgow, salary DOE Your new company This globally recognised, well-established company is committed to ensuring seamless supply chain operations throughout the UK and globally. Its leading services combine a mixture of freight options in aim to deliver logistical flexibility and cost efficiencies to key stakeholders. Due to high demand, the business is in need of a Stock & Logistics Administrator to maximise business operations. Your new role You will be responsible for planning sales movements from store/farming by managing and communicating all inward & outward movements with customers/ stores/ farms/haulage team. You will analyse all customer requests with a focus on providing the best customer service. You will be planning contracts for delivery and liaising with the haulage department. You will reconcile and record all inward and outward stock movements and react to spot and urgent delivery of collection requirements. You will also get involved in invoicing for all customer sales, credit control and cost approval for all associated costs. What you'll need to succeed This is an interesting and varied role for an individual with a background in FMCG and Logistics Admin. You must have a sense of urgency and commitment, excellent interpersonal skills and good at relationship building. Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst continuing to perform effectively. Strong numerical skills, good at problem solving with a keen eye for detail.
