We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Analyst to join our finance team based at our Head Office in Ashby. You will assist with the production of the weekly accounts, monthly outlooks and yearly budgets. Focusing on trends and KPI analysis across specific transport related portfolios you will liaise on a weekly basis with the appropriate director to agree on results and commentary, there will be a requirement for client interaction and production of client reports. The key accountabilities for this role will be; Approve the timely weekly management accounts, ensuring that checks are conducted and the result is agreed with the appropriate director Improve profitability within the specific portfolio by challenging KPI performance Agree and provide to the Finance Business Partner an accurate monthly outlook for the portfolio with risks and opportunities identified Produce the yearly budget with the assistance of the operational management on site Production of client KPIs and reporting and attend at monthly / quarterly meetings Production of KPIs in line with the Business Control manual for the portfolio Implementation of new business within the portfolio Liaise with the Accenture team to drive efficiency and performance Ensure invoices are raised accurately Have involvement in renewals and ICAP presentations for contracts within the portfolio To be successful in this role you will have proven Financial performance, analysis and reporting experience, ideally within a customer facing finance role. You will be highly numerate with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data whilst identify trends and possess the ability to positively influence decisions when needed. You will be able to communicate with both finance and non-finance colleagues on complex issues, be a logical thinker and a natural problem solver. You will be IT literate and have good working knowledge of accounting and reporting software Holding a CIMA or ACCA qualified would be desirable, but not essential With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employee’s to grow, progress, develop and be part of our journey.
