Overview

P/T Accounts Assistant 20 hours per week Flexible hours however must include Friday from 10-2. Finance To complete weekly banking of cash and cheques collected by the company including posting receipts on to Sage 50 Accounts system. Process card payments from customers over the phone and in person and where necessary post receipts onto Sage 50 Accounts system. To liaise with and support the out-based Finance team who provide Supplier payment, credit control and general Finance services, including controlling and filing paperwork relating to these services. To post supplier invoices, other transactions and update Sage 50 Accounts system as directed. To undertake, where necessary, the collection of money from overdue accounts. Customer Services Provide a professional and friendly greeting both by phone and in person to customers, visitors and suppliers. General duties Liaise with all company departments, providing support as directed. Maintain and update the paper and digital filing and stock systems that are currently in place. Reproduce written material when necessary. Other administrative tasks as required. You must have accounts experience and be able to self manage. You will have previous cash handling experience and have experience of using online Accounting software.
