Job Title: Electrical Technician Salary: Up to £32K (dep on exp) - 25 days holiday, up to 16% combined pension, Occupational Health Location: Wednesbury Keywords relating to this position include: Electrical, Technician, Maintenance, PPM, 18th Edition, IEE, Heavy Plant, Overhead Crane A large, world renowned manufacturer and distributor of industrial components supplied into various industries including; automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, construction and others, is now seeking a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their established team. Reporting to the Team Leader, the Electrical Technician will assist in the efficient operation of the electrical function. This involves routine planned maintenance schedules, reporting of duties and responding to breakdowns. Reactive and preventative maintenance to heavy engineering plant is a big part of this role, so it's important that you work towards a good standard of health and safety in a team working environment. The ideal candidate will be an electrical biased maintenance engineer or technician who is experienced working within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Maintenance of PLC and SCADA systems and using programming tools to identify faults is essential. Qualified to 18th Edition and IEE regulations, you will be used to the maintenance of motors, drives (to 1000kW) and inverters.
