Parity Group are delighted to be engaged with a well-known progressive organisation on a large project and as a result have the need for an Agile Business Analyst with a Scrum Master experience to join their team in Glasgow on a 6 months contract. Role: My client requires to solidify and expand an experiment to use an agile methodology in design and construction through two large construction projects, they have had some success in reducing timescales and creating a more collaborative team. My client are now looking to continue to expand the techniques used, to include more projects and identify if cost savings can be measured. To do this they need to complete a drafted Business Case and confirm internal funding. The role would work alongside two business analysts who are leading on each of the current projects. The role is to lead on the business case, but will not have the responsibility to lead the team. Key capability, one of the following: solid understanding of agile theory in practice and a willingness to adapt this for the different scenario of design and construction. Or strong experience applying innovative approaches to the management of design & construction and a willingness to learn and apply agile. Additional capabilities: An eagerness to learn a new industry and the leading practices Observe behaviours and coaching of teams and individuals Setting hypothesis and monitoring success Understanding of some other fields to drive improvement, e.g. Lean, design thinking developing a business case, securing funding and monitoring benefits We are flexible on the role the applicant has previously undertaken. That may be Business Analysis, Agile coach or Scrum Master. If you have experience applying innovative approaches in Construction we can complement your skills with agile experience.
