Overview
Accounts Assistant Truro £20-£24K (£10-£12per hour PT) Our client are a fantastic local employer, who has been part of the Cornish business landscape for over 100 years and are looking to fill a rare accounts assistant vacancy in their team. The position will involve working as part of a small team, and reporting into the Finance Manager. Your role will be to manage all accounting queries from customers and in relation to services provided. Responsibilities include: Management and handling of all payments and refunds including bank reconciliations Management of the sales ledger, including aged debtors Handle payments and receipts to suppliers, including reconciliations Data analysis & reporting Preparing banking Deal with customer enquiries, confidently via phone and email in relation to payments Assisting with queries an supporting the share services centre This position would suit an energetic candidate who is part way through their AAT qualifications, and likes to get involved in the community and culture of the business they work in. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of excel, and be a strong communicator with the ability to work at all levels within the business. This is a permanant position, there may be some flexibility in hours for the right candidate. There are good transport links available and parking available at the office location which is not in the centre of town.
