Overview
We are looking to attract a paralegal to join our highly regarded large loss/catastrophic injury department in our Manchester City Centre office. The role involves working closely with a Legal 500 recommended Partner on high value personal injury claims, for two specific large insurers, and will include liaising with barristers and experts. We are looking for a paralegal that is keen to develop their legal expertise by assisting our partner with both litigated and pre action multi-track large loss cases. The paralegal will be involved in preparing instructions to counsel, court bundles, drafting and reviewing applications and witness statements, reviewing and analysing records/disclosure, instructing legal experts, and attending conferences and trials. We would like to hear from paralegals experienced in a defendant large loss environment who have excellent organisational skills and a forensic attention to detail. A good working knowledge of Word and Excel together with excellent numeracy and communication skills is also essential.
