Overview

About the Role FTI in EMEA currently has a presence in 12 countries and annual regional travel expenditure of circa $6 - 7m. The firm is organised in global segments and travel in the region has not previously been managed at an EMEA level but by the individual segments in the region. During 2019, the firm has been engaged in a global RFP process to find a new global travel agent, with a specific focus on improving the travel experience (particularly for client engagements), as well as to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness. In order to implement the organisational change required to make this successful and meet the above objectives, we are looking for an experienced travel manager to join us in EMEA. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of EMEA travel operations, service delivery and associated business travel credit card programs. The role of the Travel Manager is essential to ensure a seamless experience for travellers while adhering to FTI Consulting's global practices and initiatives and working with the individual segments. This individual will report to the Global Senior Travel Manager on a day to day basis and liaise directly with the EMEA Chief Operating Officer and Global Credit Card Program Administrator. What You'll Do In conjunction with the Global Sr. Travel Manager, this role is responsible for the EMEA contract/agreement development, negotiations, approval and implementation with travel management company, airlines, hotels, car agencies, ground transportation, and all travel related suppliers Monitor EMEA region travel and expense related policy and recommend strategies to improve compliance and to benchmark, analyse, monitor and report on EMEA travel expenditures Oversight of the EMEA corporate travel agencies including all operational issues Establish and conduct RFP, RFI processes, supplier evaluations and selection, account management and supplier performance reviews Provide strategic sourcing and payment support for all travel-related initiatives including meetings and events Understand and anticipate EMEA employee needs and travel preferences and provide proactive communication region wide on aspects and benefits of the corporate travel and credit card program Respond quickly and proactively to travel requests, resolve complaints and provide advice on travel documents, insurance, import/export regulations etc. Administer the Travel Card program for EMEA Region including applications for new card holders, cancellation, limit changes and card stoppage as appropriate How You'll Grow The Travel Manager will be an EMEA regional specialist but work as part of a global team to provide support across all regions and countries where FTI conducts business.
