Sustainability Manager London Competitive Starting Salary Benefits Ref: SH936 Our client, one of the UK's leading commercial real estate firms, with offices based throughout the UK, is currently looking to add a Sustainability Manager to join their industry-leading Sustainability Team. The successful candidate should have a holistic and encompassing knowledge of sustainability, CSR, and wider social, environmental and governance issues within the built environment. This should include ESG Strategy, Environmental management, energy management, ISO 14001, sustainable procurement and environmental compliance. As the new Sustainability Manager, your duties will be ranged and will include: Driving the Sustainability Strategy development and implementation Champion sustainability throughout the business Driving the company's pledge to the World Green Building Council's Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment by 2030. Setting objectives, targets and driving the implementation of action plans throughout the company Attending, charing and driving the CSR Committee Steering Group Widen the client base through championing a shared ethos on ESG across the business To be considered for this Sustainability Manager position, you will ideally: Have strong technical knowledge of Sustainability/Environmental Management/Environmental Legislation/Environmental Science/Energy Management/Health and Well-being Have experience of applying sustainability within the property sector - preferable 6 years' minimum Hold an MSc or MEng in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Energy Management, Sustainability or equivalent. Be a member of a professional body, or working towards - such as IEMA, EI or CIBSE Have an excellent understanding of Zero-Net Carbon Strategies Our client is pleased to offer their new Sustainability Manager Consultant a highly competitive starting salary, along with a generous benefits package.
